A few things I'm excited about:
1. I went to the Detroit Zoo this week.
2. I think I found an appropriate bridesmaid dress that doesn't require me to fast or feast to fit into.
3. I had ice-cream on a cone twice this week.
4. I am able to speak to my friends via telephone on a regular basis, like a normal person. NOT from a stuffy "talkshop" booth surrounded by people staring at me.
5. I went to a cottage on a lake.
6. I don't have to pay rent!
7. I no longer have to struggle to understand what people are saying to me.
8. No more Euros!
9. No more fake tans! (well, at least not bad Oompa Loompa ones)
10. Friends who are also temporarily unemployed.
Some things I'm not happy about:
1. I still don't have a car.
2. I still don't have a job.
3. My parents have a really annoying high-fallutin toaster oven that takes 10 minutes to toast bread, and then, only burns it.
4. I can't stop eating.
5. Having a non-working printer when I need to send out resumes.
6. Sending out resumes.
7. Anything related to "Ben and Jen"
8. Unpacking.
9. Having to exercise.
10. Having no car and feeling like I'm a teenager always "borrowing" my parents car.
