Am I the only one that feels badly for Prince Charles (in the way one can "feel badly" for royalty) and Camilla? Or, at the very least feels that its kind of romantic that that actually finally get to be together? Everyone is so dang mean to her, and, personally, I thought Princess Di was a flake (like Diane Keaton's wifey character in "The Godfather"). But enough about that. Did I tell you all about the "fashion show" I attended this weekend at VCU? First, they told me it started at 6PM and it did not start until 8:30. Second, it took place in a sporting arena that smelled like popcorn. Third, the music was so loud I couldn't hear myself think. Fourth, there was some insane girl screaming over the loudspeaker things like "There are some green shoes missing. Return the shoes NOW!!!" Some highlights: "models" strutting down the runway to lyrics like "There's too much booty in your pants!" whilst wearing jeans and fur coats; a strange (and somehow impressive) non-sequitor Fly Girls dance squad who did a raunchy dance in the middle of the show, people eating nachos while watching models, the guys in front of me who positioned themselves to see behind the stage and hence topless girls running around. However, the real killer was the guy across the auditorium from me who was wearing a head-to-toe pink suit. And, no, he wasn't gay. In other news, I saw "Melinda and Melinda." It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't great either. I would also like it noted that the Andie MacDowell crown of "Worst Actress in the Entire World Whose Personality Isn't Even Interesting" can now be passed on to Ms. Chloe Sevigny. She was cringeworthy. At least Will Ferrell was there to save the day. And now, I must sleep.
